Sara Evans

Sarah Sarah Sara SaraSara Evans has only had an unfulfilled dream throughout her entire life she has always wanted to compose and sing country music. Evans has been quoted saying, "God has put me on this earth to be a singer." That's according to John Meroney from American Enterprise. That's what I love and what I will do. Evans would also like to be successful by returning to traditional country music, which was popularized by legendary artists such as Patsy Cline and Hank Snow. Also, she was influenced to some extent by George Jones, Tammy Wynette and Patty Loveless. The late 1990s were an era when most aspiring country music stars turned to new songs that were radio-friendly, Evans was able to make her mark through her performances of country tunes with a nostalgic look and reflected her debut album from 1997, True Lies. The album was not greeted with critical appreciation and a nomination from the Academy of Country Music in 1998 for being the top female vocalist, True Lies made little an impact. Evans' next release in 1999, No Place That Far was a result of bowing to producers who pushed her to upgrade her selection of songs. The singer finally got the recognition that she has long awaited since her childhood. Sara Evans was born February 5th, 1971 from Columbia, Missouri. Sara Evans spent her early years in the company of six other siblings.
