Melina Kanakaredes, an American actor, is famous for her role as Doctor. Sydney Hansen in the NBC drama "Providence" and Dr. Lane Hunter in the medical drama 'The Resident.' She is also best-known for portraying the role of detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama 'CSI NY" as she played Dr. Lane Hunter at the medical drama "The Resident.'
